In response to gold generation and item exploits in action rpg game Last Epoch, developer Eleventh Hour have released a statement on Steam admonishing those responsible and reaffirming their commitment to preventing further exploits on "both a technical and user level."
The statement, which also mentions nefarious goings on involving the very much banned RMT (real money trading), details the recent fixes released to combat these issues, as well as the identification and banning of accounts found to have broken the game’s terms of service.

]]>Wondering what the best Primalist skills and builds are in Last Epoch? From the depths of the harsh frontier comes the Primalist, the barbarian, berserker, and druid of Last Epoch. With the ability to summon animal armies, elemental fury, and a wide variety of different totems, the Primalist embodies the best traits of the wandering nature warrior trope present in many sword and sorcery stories.
Whether you want to conquer the opposition with a wave of ferocious creatures or shapeshift, the Primalist's three Masteries - Beastmaster, Druid, and Shaman - all have something impressive to offer. Below, we've outlined our preferred builds for each Mastery, along with the right Skills, Specialization Tree nodes, and Passives for each. Read on to rise above all foes in Last Epoch as master of the wilds.
]]>Wondering what the best Acolyte skills and builds are in Last Epoch? For big magical power in Last Epoch, there's no beating the Mage. This crafty spellslinger is the archetypal wizard seen in other RPGs, and while the in-game character model representing the Mage is noticeably older than his peers, there's no denying that this wizened elder can still whip the rest of his party into shape.
The Mage has a nearly endless array of options at their disposal, making them one of Last Epoch's most versatile, and potentially complex, classes. Whether you want to study runes, go for broke with big AoE blasts, or wield a spell-infused sword, there's something for you when it comes to the Mage's three Masteries: the Runemaster, the Sorcerer, and the Spellblade. Below, we've outlined our preferred builds for each Mastery, along with the right Skills, Specialization Tree nodes, and Passives for each. Read on to learn the true might of magic.
]]>What is the best Last Epoch class? Before you step foot in Eterra, you must select one of five classes: Acolyte, Mage, Primalist, Rogue, and Sentinel. To make your decision even harder, later down the line you'll also need to choose between three masteries depending on which class you picked, though this decision isn't presented until you reach the end of Chapter 2. No further spoilers, but if you're keen to choose your mastery as soon as possible, just keep playing through the story and it'll show up soon.
]]>What are the best builds for every class in Last Epoch? The hottest ARPG in town right now has five classes to choose from, followed by a number of subclasses specific to each, meaning there is a lot of build variation possible. When you're first learning the game though, don't worry too much about your build specifics. The best builds here are best suited to players who have reached level 70 and want to tackle the endgame content, though you can work your way towards these by unlocking the right skills as you progress through the story.
It's an overwhelming game but with these builds, each of which we also have full dedicated guides for, it should be a little easier to manage. Here are the best builds for every class in Last Epoch, along with an alternative option for each.
]]>Wondering what the best Acolyte skills and builds are in Last Epoch? The Acolyte class in Last Epoch is for those who aren't afraid to challenge the powers of life and death - or rather undeath. If you've ever played an undead summoner in any other ARPG, you have some idea of what to expect here. Lots of henchmen skeletons and spirits are waiting for you, and Acolytes even possess the ability to morph into a deadly version of the Grim Reaper!
That said, it can be tricky to determine whether you'd rather unleash a hex on your nearest enemy or open a rift in the ground to send them straight to the Underworld. There are quite a lot of creepy options at your disposal when studying the Acolyte's three Masteries: the Lich, the Necromancer, and the Warlock. But thankfully, we've done this frightening work for you, and below you'll find our favourite builds for each of these Masteries, along with the right Skills, Specialization Tree nodes, and Passives to select for each. Read on, and pretty soon the horrors of the great beyond will be at your beck and call.
]]>Wondering what the best Rogue builds and skills are in Last Epoch? The Rogue class in Last Epoch is well practiced at the traditional roguish art of slicing and dicing everything in close proximity with a dagger and bow. There's more, though! If you also like setting traps, tossing smoke bombs like a shinobi, or even charging into combat alongside your trusty falcon, the Rogue can do all that as well.
There's a lot to discover with Rogue builds, especially as you reach level 20 and need to narrow your focus down to the class' three Masteries: the Bladedancer, the Falconer, and the Marksman. Below, we've outlined our favourite builds for each of these Masteries, along with the right Skills, Specialization Tree nodes, and Passives to select for each. Read on, and we guarantee that your Last Epoch Rogue will light up the battlefield with plenty of high damage numbers.
]]>Having launched out of almost five years of early access last week and quickly become one of Steam's current most-played games, fantasy action-RPG Last Epoch has laid out initial plans for post-1.0. Expect bug fixes and quality-of-live improvements soon, then new challenging fights later. The developers, Eleventh Hour Games say they're "going to have a heavy emphasis on expanding end-game content". But first, yes, more fixes and improvements to the servers which suffered and stumbled.
]]>Last Epoch is, as has been observed many times, a kind of middle-ground ARPG. You hold down a button to evaporate hordes of enemies from a top down isometric perspective, but, in a step further than Diablo 4, it has more in-depth, any-time crafting for entry level percentage perverts to eke out incremental slivers of health regen vs. damage. At the same time, it's less complex than Path Of Exile, which is where advanced percentage perverts go when they die. Last Epoch has been in early access for a while now, so there's a decent chance that you already know what you think of it now it's in 1.0. If you haven't yet dipped your toe in, then I can tell you it's very decent. It makes building an extremely overpowered mega-wizard very easy, and I liked it better than Diablo IV, I think.
]]>Last Epoch, a Diablo-like action-RPG from Eleventh Hour Games that's been in early access since 2019, finally arrives tomorrow as a full release. And to celebrate, there's a colossal 1.0 update that could take you an hour to read in its entirety. To spare you the time commitment, its highlights include new Acolyte and Rogue masteries, new Item Factions, a full offline mode, controller support, and plenty of visual tweaks.
]]>As time-travelling fantasy APRG Last Epoch gears up for its 1.0 release this week, developers Eleventh Hour Games have revealed the final crop of character classes that will be arriving in the game on February 21st. Technically, they're the final pair of the 15 mastery classes that you'll be able to unlock after working through one of Last Epoch's five base classes, but listen, I don't even need to look at the other 14 masteries to know what I'm going to be aiming for come release. The Falconer specialisation of Last Epoch's Rogue class just sounds too good to pass up.
]]>Last Epoch is gunning for the action-RPG crown long held by Diablo (and recently contested by the likes of Path of Exile and Grim Dawn). With the power of time travel - and a flash-looking launch trailer - on its side, the indie hopeful certainly looks set to put up a decent fight when it exits Early Access in just over a month.
]]>Early access action RPG Last Epoch has just received update 0.9.2, which adds a new class of mage called the Runemaster. The Runemaster has five new spells they can use to tear through the game's monsters, and each spell can be customised via its own skill tree.
The update, called "Runes Of Power", also adds eight new languages, and a new type of event called Rune Prisons. Developers Eleventh Hour also announced that Last Epoch's 1.0 release would happen in December this year.
]]>If you can't wait for Path Of Exile 2, and you've long since lost interest in Diablo 4, then you might want to cast your loot-hungry eyes toward Last Epoch, an upcoming time-travel fantasy ARPG that's been enjoying a successful stint in early access since 2019 and, as tonight's Gamescom Opening Night Live show revealed, is on track for a full release later this year. The Geoffcom mega show also revealed there's a new mage class called the Runemaster heading to the game next month that's capable of casting 40 different spells on a single attack key, but given this is the first time we've written about Last Epoch, I realise that probably won't mean much to a lot of you. So let's back up a bit and introduce Last Epoch properly, because hoo boy, if you love customisable skill trees, this is the ARPG for you, my friend.
